Tips for Needs and Offers?

Does anyone regularly scour the Needs and Offers lists? How many forums do you search? I've just started a project to replace some lost and paid titles, and I'm getting eyestrain from all the email listservs and the GPO's own N&O page. I would put up a Needs list, but I want to see what's already on offer first. I also wonder if anyone who has something to offer would even bother to look for my little list. Any advice would help.

I don't have time to examine the N&O list. What I'd like to see is the ability to put up a list of Needs and let the computers match it to listed Offers. LIke eBay's permanent searches.

In answer to you above question, I do regularly.

Another thought is for GPO to have its own offers list of extra copies of ship short documents. Although this may not be a GPO solitary problem. (Government budgeting...etc)
