Since we might possibly be electing our first African-American president today, I thought this would be a good time to look at the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights:

http://www.usccr.gov/index.html

One part of the Commission's mission is "To investigate complaints alleging that citizens are being deprived of their right to vote by reason of their race, color, religion, sex, age, disability, or national origin, or by reason of fraudulent practices."

So, get out there today and exercise your right to vote (and if you spot any of those prohibited practices, let the Commission know).
